"Not this kind of sticky anyway." The little quip couldn't be helped, but Hythlodaeus has the right idea. As the chocolate is drying and harder to get rid of it is simply becoming a sticky mess. Besides it is not as though they need it there as an excuse to let their mouths wander over each other, for that seems to be happening often enough as is.
