"You can hardly call it a mess when you do it deliberately you know." He sighs a little, brushing the back of his hand across his nose to remove the chocolate as he takes the fruit, cautiously, for he half expects it to be pulled away at the last moment.

On to the next contender. He reaches down the bed for the lemon cake he had taken a bite of earlier before settling in again, taking a forkful from it and letting the plate sit in front of them.

"We can, and should. Besides the city proper, and the sky station, prior to your arrival I only visited Primavera and its hotsprings, which was.." He pauses for just a moment, for how do you even begin to describe that mess? "an experience, certainly." Perhaps the less said, the better.

"There is plenty more to see. And considering recent events, it would perhaps do us good to see it, if this is to be our home for now." A phrase that still feels odd to say. 'Home' has not been a thing for a long, long, time. But if something were to go wrong, they need to know as much about this world as possible. Plus, it may even be a little fun.

"Or, you can simply fulfill your wish of gorging on sugar until you vomit, on every island this star has to offer."

"Hmm. It isn't a mess if I do it deliberately? Understood."

Yes, he knows that's not what Emet-Selch meant. He's going to be a shit about it anyway. He takes to dipping his finger in the chocolate dip and sucking at it idly, smiling at the mention of home. It's not Amaurot, but it's what they have and he would rather be grateful for that than upset at what he misses.

"As long as we are together, I will be happy. There is little more I could ask for." Though he does understand that here, they aren't guaranteed tomorrow. All the more reason to appreciate the time they spend together, he thinks.

Emet-Selch groans. He knows that his friend knew exactly what he meant by it, but of course he has to twist the meaning. When he thinks Hythlodaeus is not looking he dips his own finger into the left over chocolate, smearing it quickly over the other's cheek before retracting his hand. For no reason other than to be annoying in retaliation, because he can.

"We can be here together, but there are many things about it that I am not happy about." Ah, that came out wrong and it has him flinching internally. He quickly follows up on it with some elaboration.

"That is to say, our current living arrangements are not sustainable in the long run, so some time soon we should have a serious talk about finding someplace else with more space." They may all be good friends but Hades especially needs his space, being in a confined space means it would not take long for he and Azem to start getting on each other's nerves.

"Then there is the matter of last week. I don't intend to be caught out like that again. This star sapped me of my aether reserves and I intend to fully replenish them, no matter how much effort it takes." Yes he knows it is tied to manna here and the implications of such a feat, which is why he follows it up with a judging look.

"And yes before you even say it, I am well aware of how that sounds. Especially so when said to someone currently mostly naked on a bed with me. But I am serious. If I must even subject myself to being bored to death while holding hands with an acquaintance as we discuss the weather, then so be it." Hythlodaeus should know better than anybody that once Hades sets his mind to something, he will fully invest in it no matter what it takes.

"Oh-" He snorts, wiping his cheek with the back of his hand. Still, Hades seems to want to say more, so he pauses to let him finish before humming thoughtfully.

"I do not doubt your commitment. And you know that I will help you however I can- whether it be just holding your hand or more." Even leaning against him like this generates a small amount of Manna. "You need simply ask." He presses a soft kiss to his cheek, to illustrate his point.

"We can speak more on moving when the three of us are together, however. It would be rude not to include Azem in such a discussion." On that note, he dips his finger in the chocolate again and wipes it on his friend's jaw. If Emet-Selch wants to start a war with the chocolate, well, Hythlodaeus can only retaliate, right?

"Well of course I wasn't suggesting we move now. We will consult her, though I intend to do it anyway." He does not think it the case, but if Hythlodaeus and Azem did not want to move, then they are welcome to stay in the tiny apartment. He's taking the bird though.

Which is all he has to say on the matter currently, because once again he finds himself with chocolate covering part of his face.

"Oh really? You're going to be like this?" This time he grabs hold of Hythlodaeus' hand before it moves too far away, pulling it close to his own face and using it to try and wipe the chocolate away. "And here I was going lenient on you for starting it in this first place."

The smart thing to do would be to admit defeat and not escalate the situation. But guess what, Emet-Selch has never been good at either of those things. No, instead he chooses to do the opposite, dipping several fingertips into the chocolate and wiping them off on his friend's chest.

"Now we're even." If you are talking about the number of chocolate-smearing actions, and definitely not the amount of chocolate used..

"Well, I will come with you, of course." As if that was up for debate.

Laughing, he simply dips his own fingers back into the chocolate and gets onto his knees, shoving his hands into the open portion of Emet's shirt to leave the chocolate there.

"Oh? Afraid of losing?" He knows how to rile his friend up, and he grins. "You know better than to think I'm backing off after that..." Nevermind the fact that he just got chocolate on his shirt.

"Losing? Me?" Treasure the thought. He now has chocolate on his chest and in honesty it is a little uncomfortable with the way it makes his shirt stick to his skin, but that does not matter right now as there are more important things to focus on.

Emet-Selch may look annoyed for a moment but it quickly transforms into a smirk as he too shifts to his knees, throwing his weight against his friend as a distraction as he scoops up some chocolate before smudging it over both of his cheeks.

"Going to give in yet?" he quickly shuffles back to his original position, but not before swiftly grabbing the bowl and bringing it along, where it is currently being held behind him. Nobody said he had to play fair.

He yelps as Emet-Selch throws his weight onto him, then wrinkles up his face as chocolate is smeared over his cheeks. But he soon straddles Emet-Selch's lap and leans in, wiping the chocolate on his face onto the other man's in return.

"Never." He starts trying to reach for the chocolate behind his back, still giggling. "If you're worried I'll win with the chocolate, you can say so..." There's surely no other reason Hades would keep the chocolate from him, after all.

"Hard to win when you cannot even reach it..." He says, squirming as the chocolate is rubbed onto his cheeks. He sees it the other way, in keeping it out of sight it greater assures his own 'victory', though in holding it behind him it is both uncomfortable and he cannot use it either which is no fun.

So he opts for something different, having one hand still hold the bowl there as the other dips a finger into the chocolate, which he then brings up between them.

"Keep still." Whether Hythlodaeus follows his instructions or not does not alter his own actions, as he wipes it over his own lips before leaning in to kiss the other's mouth, where it both tastes sweet and makes a bigger mess. Of course it is meant to be a distraction, for he is trying to sneak his bowl out and stash it behind Hythlodaeus' back instead, whether it succeeds remains to be seen.

The kiss is distracting, but he's inwardly wondering what Emet-Selch is up to. He knows his friend better than that, after all. So although he returns the kiss, he does notice the chocolate being moved behind him instead.

Pretending to get further into the kiss, he cups Emet's cheek with one hand- before suddenly breaking away and turning to wipe his entire hand in the bowl, smearing it over the other's neck and chest with a chuckle.

"A terribly obvious ploy, I'm afraid." He casually sucks some chocolate from his finger, feeling decidedly sticky. But he's not done yet- he leans in to start licking the chocolate from Emet-Selch's neck. "Do you admit defeat?"

He was so sure he had gotten away with it, too. He should have known that his close friend would be able to see through his tricks and even though they're only being silly, it's nice to have someone who can keep up with him. Which is why he stifles a laugh, even when he is being covered in a sugary mess once again.

"Never. Unless this is you asking to call a truce." Doubtful, it likely will not end until they are out of chocolate which won't be long now. Even so he turns his head all the same, if Hythlodaeus wishes to use his tongue to clean up some of the mess he is going to willingly encourage it.

Since the bowl has been spotted there is no point in hiding it, and Emet-Selch brings it forward again to sit beside him, scooping some chocolate out with his fingers and slowly dragging them down the other's chest to leave their marks.

"Likely not what they had in mind when the menu said dipping chocolate to augment your meal." Certainly memorable, though.

"A truce? No." Alas, they are nearing the end of the chocolate, so Hythlodaeus takes the last of it and brings it up to Emet-Selch's lips again, where he wipes it over his mouth before pressing a finger past his lips with a grin.

"What they had in mind matters not. What I'm more concerned with is that we're having fun our way." He sits back a little, resting his weight on Emet-Selch's lap more, a chocolatey mess but glad for it. "We can clean ourselves up whenever we like, after all."

He brings a hand up to hold Hythlodaeus' steady, allowing the finger into his mouth where he will suck most of the chocolate from it. After which he pulls it out to replace it with the next one- but not before brushing it against his own bottom lip to take up some of the chocolate from it.

"A wave of a hand would be all it takes to unmake our mess. But that is rather boring. No need to do it yet." Perhaps the description regarding the chocolate was accurate after all, for the look in Emet-Selch's eyes in combination with the smirk creeping onto his lips suggests that he is considering Hythlodaeus himself as the next item on his menu.

He leans forward to press a kiss on the corner of his lover's mouth before letting his lips brush over his jaw, where he licks some of the chocolate off of it. Of course his own face is still covered in it so he is likely creating more mess than he is taking away, but the point here is not to actually get clean, it is to fool around with it before the stickiness becomes too irritating to deal with.

He closes his eyes as Emet-Selch starts to lick at the chocolate on his jaw, smiling. "'Twould be rather boring when we have our mouths, yes."

To accentuate his point, he moves to drag his tongue along Emet-Selch's neck- he sucks at the skin perhaps a little unnecessarily afterwards. He then starts to unbutton his friend's shirt further, pushing it from his shoulders and out of the way of the chocolate he'd smeared over his chest before.

"So very tempting..." He grins, before lowering his lips to his collarbone and nipping at the skin there before sucking the chocolate off.

Being the completely altruistic friend that he is, he helps out by unbuttoning the rest of his shirt and pulling his arms out of it so that it can be tossed aside and forgotten.

"What is tempting?" Even though he asks, he can hazard a guess as to what it is in relation to considering their current activities. Letting out a content hum he tilts his head to the side in order to give Hythlodaeus better access and simply enjoy the feeling of his mouth on him before moving to return the gesture.

He runs his tongue from his friend's jaw and down his neck towards the shoulder, until it meets a particularly stubborn piece of the chocolate.

"Ah, some of it dried already.." No matter, for there is a solution to that. Instead he drags his teeth over the spot before following it up by sucking on the spot, which does a good job of removing most of it.

"You, of course." He closes his eyes as Emet-Selch's teeth graze over his skin, and when he's done with that stubborn spot of chocolate he moves to kiss him properly, relishing the unhindered rush of Manna he gets from it. The chocolate is drying and Hythlodaeus is becoming far more interested in the man covered in it, the man who not so long ago he professed his love to.

He only pulls back to grab the nearest glass of wine and take a sip from it- it's Hades' glass, but oh well. "Ah, it's getting somewhat uncomfortable now. What say you? I can think of other ways to have fun without being sticky."

"Not this kind of sticky anyway." The little quip couldn't be helped, but Hythlodaeus has the right idea. As the chocolate is drying and harder to get rid of it is simply becoming a sticky mess. Besides it is not as though they need it there as an excuse to let their mouths wander over each other, for that seems to be happening often enough as is.

"I do agree. Which begs the question, either we soak in the tub and get to be either pleasantly surprised or begrudgingly disappointed in its actual size in comparison to what they stated, or we simply conjure up some magics to do away with it all without needing to move from this spot."

As his friend sips the wine Hades wraps a hand around his, to tilt the glass in the opposite way so that he may drink some himself. Either options works- one has the potential to be relaxing and to draw things out, while the other can take care of the problem immediately so they can focus on the more important things such as each other.

"Either way, we are still over-dressed."

He chuckles at the joke, and thinks on their situation. "We can check the size of the tub, I suppose. If we find it lacking, all it would take is a snap of your fingers to clean us up."

But of course, Hythlodaeus is also feeling rather impatient, and feels that he'd rather just have the chocolate gone now so he can proceed to ravage his friend. He moves off from Emet-Selch's legs in order to slip out of his underwear, then settles beside the other man and toys with the waistband of his pants.

"There. Now it's your turn, I believe."

He lifts up his hips to pull the waistbands down, removing all his remaining clothing in one swift movement. Turning his attention back to his friend he lets his gaze drift over him, from his chocolate covered face, his chest, lower still..

"...Bathing can wait. Forget about it." Now that they are both very, very naked he honestly doesn't give a damn about trying it anymore. Instead he offers up that simple snap of his fingers, which serves to dissipate the majority of the chocolate from their skin while also conjuring a damp cloth, which he promptly picks up to give himself a quick wipe down before handing it over.

"I'd rather stay here and let you have your way with me." He offers a quick nip to his friends shoulder before looping an arm around his waist, pulling towards him in an effort to have them be closer together and move further onto the mattress. "We paid a fortune for this bed, 'tis only fair we get our money's worth out of it."

Hythlodaeus can't help but to laugh a little at the sudden change in plans. Not that he's complaining any, mind. He wipes himself over with the cloth before placing it onto the nightstand behind Emet-Selch, and then he pulls his lover close and presses his lips to his. After a few moments he shifts them so that Emet-Selch is on his back, and Hythlodaeus settles himself neatly between his legs and starts to kiss at his neck fondly.

"And have my way with you I shall..." With a low chuckle, he starts to nip at the skin beneath his lips, sucking a small bruise into it. At the same time his hand starts to wander down Emet-Selch's side, fingers tracing over firm muscle. He's not the possessive type really, but that doesn't mean he can't appreciate when he has Emet-Selch all to himself.

Now on his back he helps pull Hythlodaeus up against him, sharing a brief kiss before their mouths part once more. He lifts a leg up in order to wind it around his friend's in return, as he lets his head fall back and appreciate the mouth toying with the skin of his neck, pleasant as always.

"Please do." he speaks softly as his mouth presses against the top of Hythlodaeus' head, giving it a chaste kiss. His hand meanwhile is being far less innocent as it slips around the man's back, appreciating the feeling of the toned body beneath it as it makes its way down his friend's back before settling promptly on an ass cheek, giving it a little squeeze.

He grins into Emet-Selch's neck as he feels where his hand is going, before continuing to kiss at his neck, then his shoulder. He's never really taken the time to appreciate his lover all over, always too impatient, but after admitting their feelings to each other it feels right to do so now.
